Our Foundation

Founded under the visionary guidelines of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, EMRS Mendhar was conceptualized with a dream:
To bridge the educational gap for Scheduled Tribes (ST) communities by providing high-quality, inclusive, and culturally sensitive education in their own regions.

About NESTS

The National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) was established by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, in 2019.
It aims to:

• Implement and manage EMRS, Eklavya Model Day Boarding Schools (EMDBS), and Centers of Excellence for Tribal Students (CoEs).
• Ensure quality education for tribal students across India.
• Bridge the urban-rural educational divide.
